1. Seaside - in the South Black Sea Coast region of Bulgaria and “Strandja” mountains;
2. Mountain - in the “Rila” mountains.
During the both routes tourists will enjoy the beautiful natural pictures, traditional Bulgarian hospitality, combined with delicious home-cooked meals and drinks. Hiking through “Rila” mountains /resort Borovets all the year round/
Horseback riding in Bulgaria is a unique experience and offers a great satisfaction, no matter if you are a beginner or an experienced rider. “Rila” Mountains offer diverse relief and great itineraries for horse riding. You will ride in the heart of the gorgeous Bulgarian nature – an abundant wildlife, awesome rivers and gorgeous waterfalls, vast forest, endless lush, beautiful mountain lakes, crystal-fresh air, sparkling blue skies.
"Seven Lakes of Rila" Route
Day 1: Transfer from Sofia airport to Borovets.
Day 2: Breakfast. Acquaintance with the horses. Horseback riding to "Mechit" hut followed by picnic near the village of Mala Cherkva. Diner and overnight in "Mechit" Hut.
Day 3: Breakfast. Trip from "Mechit" hut towards Rila monastery. Lunch at one of the many incomparable valleys Kobolino Branishte and continue riding until reaching the cottage for spending the night in a cozy chalet.
Day 4: Breakfast. Excursion to the Rila Monastery, situated along Rila bosoms on 1147m above sea level, on right side of the Rila river bank is placed the most spectacular monument of the Bulgarian architecture and culture famous since the Renaissance as St. Rila Closter. Centuries he had an important place in the Bulgarian history fighting for a mentor and political freedom. Dinner and overnight in a Bulgarian stile chalet.
Day 5: Breakfast. Horseback riding to one of the heist mountain cottage "Seven Lakes of Rila". Lunch at amazing glade "Topilata" and continue the trip to Hotel "Rila Lakes" for spending the night.
Day 6: Breakfast. A road though beautiful paths until reaching the picturesque village Govedartsi. Diner and spending the night in Borovez.
Day 7: Breakfast. Transfer from Borovets to Sofia airport.
